As we continue to talk about the CBD and its expansive reach across the country, we’d like to recognize the women in the industry and how their brands are impacting how we view CBD. Here are five women owned CBD brands blazing through the industry with their unique products and remarkable stories. 

Undefined Beauty

Undefined Beauty is taking an unfiltered, unapologetic approach to democratize beauty and wellness. The Black-owned brand offers clean and conscious plant-based solutions that are affordable, without compromising the quality and effectiveness of each product. Inclusivity is key as Undefined Beauty not only believes everyone should have access to beauty and wellness, but the company also partners with female-founded, BIPOC and LGBTQ businesses within its supply chain. 

Undefined Beauty offers full spectrum hemp-infused elixirs and serums that regenerate and balance the skin. Products like cleansers and exfoliators are fused with Mother Nature’s Plant Magic to reset and replenish the skin, protecting it from everyday wear and tear. 

Buena Botanicals

Buena Botanicals is a family-owned cannabis lifestyle brand started by twin sisters who both share a common passion for holistic healing, plant medicine and the Earth it stems from. The products are infused with organic, full spectrum CBD oil and the hemp it’s derived from is hand-harvested and ethically grown in the US. Bath bombs, oils and other spa items can be used to treat and manage a variety of health issues such as chronic pain, PTSD and anxiety. 

Terrestrial Roots

Terrestrial Roots offers CBD-based products that are ethically sourced from small businesses and is transparent with customers seeking affordable holistic treatment. The Latinx-founded company provides a variety of products such as salves for pain relief, honey and deodorant, all created with the intention to serve those seeking natural alternatives for medicine within the Latinx community and beyond. 

Biko

BIKO not only celebrates the time-honored traditions and beauty of the cannabis plant, the woman, Black-owned company also strives to create lasting partnerships with other entrepreneurs supporting a sustainable network geared toward social equity. Founder Timeka Drew was one of 200 recipients of Los Angeles’ social equity storefront licenses, allowing her to open her business to help others while driving social change. The lifestyle brand carries luxury flower and pre-roll collections that are curated several ways each with its own inspired user. 

Sun Brand

Woman owned and American made, Sun Brand offers full spectrum, organically sourced hemp products in order to foster health and happiness, all while supporting disadvantaged youth in the US with each purchase. The company carries more than 30 products including wellness, beauty and pet health solutions, and prides itself on items being free of heavy metals, pesticides and solvents. Products are also held to high testing and quality control standards.
